I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
